I would like to thank my family and fans for they have supported me and for the trust they have shown in me" how many times we have seen this on TV? It has almost become regularity. Consider another regularity; Amitabh Bachchan has been voted the most popular Indian; BBC declares Amitabh superstar of the millennium.

I don't have any personal issue with these two but one thing I just can't understand is that how these two people can dominate a glamour stuck world as bollywood. Let's forget anything else and have a look at these two. First is taller than most of the doors we have in middle class house. Frankly speaking he is not very good looking either (if we consider his colleagues good looking). His voice which is now considered his biggest asset once caused him a job in all India radio. In an industry like bollywood which is identified by its "songs n dance" contents he is not a great dancer either.

On the other hand we have Shahrukh khan, looks as usual as one can. A person with very normal physique (if not weak) who just can't speak a girl's name in one go (remember KKK…kiran) is the king khan of bollywood. If we compare these two with their colleagues they really look ordinary in lot of ways. ok we may have an argument that they are very good actors, but don't we have likes of Om Puri, Paresh Rawal, Naseeruddin Shah, Shabana Azmi and Anupam Kher as one of the best actors in bollywood. That means acting is not the only criteria. Neither looks is, nor are tone and dancing skills.

Another part of the story is that these two have delivered hits no one else could. And it is not just about those hits, it is about the kind of popularity they have in our country. The amount of money they get for a add film is just an example of what kind of impact they have on common people's mind. It is so stronger that a person chooses even a chocolate just because it is endorsed by Mr. Bachchan. Taste of chocolate? Who cares? These two are phenomenal to say the least.

My point is simple; why these two? Why not anybody more accomplished, more skilled and more glamorous?

Let's start from Amitabh first; his first major was Zanzeer in 1973. After that he delivered super hits like Deewar, Sholay, Amar Akbar Anthony, don, Mukkaddar Ka Sikandar, Lawaris, Kalia and many other hits. Apart from these there were other averages and flop movies but these were the movies really they made Amitabh Bachchan a real "hero of the nation" and got him the tag of "angry young man". Then in 80s his majors included Andhaa Kanoon, Coolie, Sharaabi, Mard, Aakhree Raasta and Shahenshah. One thing that was common in all the movies was that angry young man who was a fighter against economic and. social injustice. A person, who was angry with the whole system, doesn't believe in God and replies back to evils of society.

Now if we take a look on the social and political situation of the country during 1970s it was pretty similar. People had just faced the emergency, then drought was caused due to monsoon failure, common people were suffering from black marketing. A common man had a strong irritation to demonstrate. And what a better way to show that anger than a person with unconventional looks, tall, lanky frame and baritone. Amitabh Bachchan's success was clearly a result of people's unfulfilled desires and expectations and hidden anger, which just came out in form of that angry young man. And when people tried to impose the same formula in 90s it failed. Films like Lal Badshah and Suryavansham had that very anger factor but those films proved to be duds. Instead few of his films which worked in the 90s were non action films like Bade Miyan Chhote Miyan. Why? Because time had changed and with that people's desires and temptations had changed. And representing those temptations was this time another unconventional actor; Shahrukh khan. He was unconventional because he was enormously ordinary. The word ordinary here doesn't mean his acting skills or screen performance (in fact he was very good on those) but the way he looked and his personality. It was the time when bollywood heroes were really getting scorching. Strong physique was the new statement then. We already had Sunny Deol and Sanjay Dutt in that league. Guys like Salman Khan, Amir Khan, Akshay Kumar and Sunil Shetty were the new dudes of bollywood thanks to their looks. But when it came to choose the roll model the weak built and run of the mill looking Shahrukh came way ahead of others. Why? Simply because silently people were fulfilling another unfulfilled and hidden aspiration, which just came out in form of those Rahuls played by Shahrukh exactly as it came in form of those 17 Vijays played by Amitabh Bachchan. Shahrukh basically represented a common and very usual young man who was emotionally very sound. For people here was a guy who was not a macho man, neither chocolaty but was able to turn all the girls around himself. The characters which he played in DDLJ, Pardesh, Dil To Pagal Hai, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Kal Ho Na Ho, Main Hoon Naa and Veer Zara was that of a magic man who could do anything. In him people saw a convincing screen lover, a perfect family man and more notably not being a striking dude. Shahrukh was a replica of the majority of cinema lovers who could see their own unfulfilled dreams and euphoria being fulfilled on the screen. If the success of 'angry young man' was any indication of a common man's inducement at that time then the success of the 'loving magic man' tells no different story. It tells how people wanted to be superior on that emotional front. More than that how they wanted to be loved. It really was a change in Indian society which very few people took notice of.

Once when asked about the reason of his success Shahrukh said "I just happened to be the right person at the right time", that's the thing there. He was the one who counted on that change in people's temptations.

Same was the case with Amitabh. The success of KBC also counted on the fact that how ambitious the Indian middle class has become and the temptation of being a millionaire resulted as the success of "Kaun Banega Karorepati" because everybody wanted to be one. . And once again it was Amitabh Bachchan who valued what was sweltering inside. And no wonder he once again became darling of the nation There is no way any one can turn down the fact that how great these two are in their territory. But perhaps being a roll model takes much more than that. You simply have to understand those hidden temptations. And next time when you choose your roll model try to find out what is your "hidden temptation".

Ankit Kumar

why science needs religion?

WHY SCIENCE NEEDS RELIGION?

The debate over whether children should be taught “intelligent design” in the public schools has attracted many views from all over the world. Though the topic is much older but the recent controversy arose when some parents at Frazier Mountain High School, in Lebec, California filed suit in federal district court to force cancellation of a high school elective course. They contend that the course is essentially a religiously motivated course. They also claimed that it took a pro creationist and anti evolutionist stance.

The shouting is basically about two theories; first is of “evolution” and second is of “intelligent design”. An evolutionist accepts the Darwinian argument of “survival of the fittest person” and believes in the theory of transformation over a period of time from one species into another. On the other hand a creationist rejects the theory of evolution and believes instead that each species on earth was put here by a Devine power. It claims that every thing we see today and will see tomorrow is not just the result of the chances exploited by the species at different times. In fact there must be an intelligent creator who has made the existence of this complex nature possible.

The conflict between science and religion is not a new thing. Recently there was a similar controversy over whether Dalai Lama should have been allowed to make presentation in an international conference of neuroscientists. One of the most famous early controversies was the trail of Galileo in 1633 for publishing his book ‘Dialogue’ which supported the Copernican theory that the earth revolved around the sun, rather than as the Bible suggests the other way around. Question is “why science and religion always collide?” To answer this question let’s ask what science and religion are all about. Both are different ways in which we can use the human resources. Science is about facts and religion is about belief. It is in our nature to use both the techniques. In the beginning we trust the facts and when the results become consistent we start trusting our experience and instincts. These two later become our belief. Our trust in facts secures accuracy in our work whereas our instincts gives us acceleration. It enables us to make predictions and to see in future. We may even say that first is what we have and second is what we want to have. Good thing with science is that it relies on true facts and there is no place for gap and error. At the same time one shortcoming of science is that it fully depends on facts which are already there. It can’t predict a change which is happening for the first time. Yes it can predict the second one provided it already have got the facts related to the sequel.

Second problem limitation of science is that it is very spontaneous. It counts on the resources available on a particular time. Since it comes from a person’s mind whose life is about 100 years, it (science) it is bound to work within the constraints of a human life. On the other hand religion comes from the consciousness of a person who is beyond the constraints of a human life. We can easily understand this thing by an example. We established so many industrial factories for a better life. As a result we really got comfortable life. But in the long run we also increased the pollution level, we damaged the ozonosphere, we cut down forests to provide raw material to the industries, we blindly used the conventional energy sources like coal and petroleum, so many animal species were lost, the climate has changed dramatically, the average temperature has raised… the results are countless. On the whole we may even say that the early science has been more focused on short term results and has failed to visualize the long term effects.

On the other hand despite all the differences all the religions motivate us to leave a life which is based on sensible use of natural resources. Most of them support animal advocacy, vegetarianism, environmental movements etc. Religion also tells that a good life necessarily doesn’t mean a comfortable one, full of leisure. Another fact is that science is often used to provide comfort and leisure.

Another side of the story is that every religion on this planet is suffering from superstitious customs. Every year so many people lose their lives in cast and community based riots. People still vote on the topic of ‘communalism’ in world’s largest democracy. On the other hand science has given us everything. From “drinking water” to “newspaper reading” anything we wish or need can’t be completed without this science thing. Then what’s the need of religion in today’s scientific world? Is religion really a useful thing or is it just a psychological support which is needed when a person becomes 50?

Thing is that science and religion both are complementary to each other. Science is a process which is all about making the best use of the resources. This may also be termed as “the best game plan” for survival. Hence as a creature we have to have a science if we have to survive. At the same time human culture is just not about survival. Its much more than that. And to have that extra we need a much broader, more visionary, more sensible, more natural, and more human science that is religion. Thing is neither science nor religion alone can lead the human society. Yes science with all its good qualities can help us achieve our goals. But what should be the goal of a human culture and society? Only religion can answer this question and not a physical science. Also only science can lead us to that very goal set by the religion and not the religion itself. Hence there must be sum sort of balance between these two. The best thing we can do about it is to make our religion more open towards new ideas. Otherwise it took over 200 years for Catholic Church to accept the scientific theory that the earth revolves around the sun. And as far as science is concerned we need to make our science more human and natural. One thing we must remember that the objective of a science is progress of human culture and not that of technology.

Ankit Kumar

what's new this new year?

What’s New In This New Year?

“Happy new year” that is the line in the air these days. With every coming year all of us make a New Year resolution. What happened if your last year resolution was to loose some weight and today you find yourself fattier than ever. So what if you decided to propose that sweetest girl on the planet in the coming year and you are still standing where you were one year back. It doesn’t matter if you decided to outperform your colleague and today he is your boss. Shahrukh is still the king khan of bollywood and Sachin is still the show of Indian cricket.
Is there really something new in the coming year or it’s just like an old letter on the new envelope? There is definitely something new this year. “Every new year can play a very important role in our lives”. Let’s see how we can make the best use of the coming year.
First of all we have to understand how the coming year can help us in our daily life struggles. A new year adds freshness to our attitude. More importantly it gives us dareness to do what we have not been able to do for a long time. It can give us the necessary power to remove all the obstacles which have been stopping us throughout the year. All this is possible because of one thing ‘change’. “Yes change is in the air” that’s the message which forces us to think that we can achieve the impossible in the coming year. Its that change factor that once again encourages us to make a new year resolution.
But question is “what’s going to make it different from the last year resolution”. Change factor is always there, but why do we fail to exploit that change factor?
To avoid this failure we will have to be careful. Every year when we make resolution we want to make fresh start. This is the point where we make mistakes. In order to make fresh attempts we try to forget the bitter moments of failure. With every failure there is a lesson which we must not forget. One thing we must remember is that we can’t count our experience off.
Success is a result of continuous process. No matter what was the result of your previous attempt it still is the part of your next attempt. You just can’t ignore that experience and that lesson which is associated with every moment of the passing year. And if you think its just a psychological thing that is currently going through your mind only then look at the world around you. Every body is celebrating. Celebrating what? Change. Look at the whether, it’s as pleasant as it can be. Every body is happy and expecting something.
So it’s not just you. It’s a collective effort and you have to make sure that you get the best result from this effort. So go ahead, make your New Year resolution, and get ready for ‘the change’.

Ankit Kumar

LETTERS TO GOD

"That catchy red color, the speed, the headlights, I have to get this toy car" said the 10 years old boy 'Krish' when traveling with his mother. "Mom I want that" said Krish. No son you already have plenty of those at home, replied her mother. "Mom please" was the last request. "No way" came a strong reply. For Krish it was a very cruel ending of a short and sweet dream.
"all my friends have so many toys, every time I ask mom to by something for me I get a big NO, all my friends go to picnic every weekend but I don't, why all this happens to me only,….". Krish was returning home keeping all these complaints in his mind. "Please give me something in the name of god" suddenly that voice broke the silence. An old beggar who used to sit in front of Krish's house was begging with a mysterious smile on his face. Why you are always begging? Why don't you ask god for some help? Why do you use his name? Can god help some body living here on this planet? Asked krish.
"He can do wonderful things but there is one thing." What? He doesn't do anything directly, in fact he uses our hands to do something, replied the old beggar. Krish couldn't understand anything. He ran towards his house, he was very disappointed for that toy car. Suddenly a thought struck his mind. Why don't I ask god for some help? He was talking to himself "everybody prays to god, Christians go to church, Muslims go to mosques, Hindus go to temple, there must be something in it, at least why have we a GOD?" He decided that he was going to call god for that toy car. "Where to find god" was the next question. He remembered his grand father saying that god doesn't live in churches or temples. He lives everywhere. So he started shouting "god…, god". But there was no one to reply. Then he thought that this universe is huge and god must be a busy man. Then he decided to write a letter to god and request him to give 25
Rs.for the toy car. He did exactly that and put the letter on the window for god. That night wind was blowing quite significantly and that wind carried the letter to the beggar who was sleeping in front of krish\'s house. Next morning when beggar got up he found that letter on his feet. Fortunately or unfortunately the beggar was literate and he could read that innocent letter. "God is great" said the beggar having that mysterious smile on his face. \n\n"there are so many people on this planet and he has chosen a beggar to do his job" he said to himself. Beggar had 30 rupees as his total earning. Giving someone 25 rupees could badly damage his budget. Should he, should he not? This might has been a question for someone sitting in the heaven and watching the whole story but not for that old and physically ill beggar. He was trying to get up on his feet, after few attempts he succeeded. It took a lot of efforts to get himself into Krish\'s house. He put the money on the same window, since it was very early in the morning every body was sleeping. \n\nThen he returned to his place and that mysterious smile was still on his face. It seemed like he had got something, which not everybody on this planet has, something like "THE TRUTH". That morning when krish got up his first move was to look at the window and he was as happy as one can be. His eyes lighted up when he saw those coins in place of the letter. He could not believe on his eyes. He ran towards the market, bought the toy and was in a great hurry to come back home. He wanted to tell everybody the story. Suddenly he saw that there was a rush in front of his house, he went there to see what happened. it was a dead body. Dead body of that beggar. Suddenly krsh\'s eyes caught some thing, it was that letter. Krish ran to his house and told his mom that the beggar was dead. What? I knew he was ill and I gave him 30 rupees for the medicine. Did you find any medicine there? Asked his mom. No mom, replied Krish. Then she went to the place where the dead body was and returned. "I can\'t understand one thing, neither he bought the medicine nor the money is there, what did he do to the money?" said his mom. She was totally confused, but the situation was very clear in Krish\'s mind. He had understood the fact that it was the beggar who compromised his life to fulfill Krish\'s wish. But why? Why did he do that? Perhaps because he wanted krish to keep faith in gad. But why on cost of his own life? Perhaps because he had greater faith in god. On that day krish felt like he was very near to the greatest mystery of human culture \'God\'.

Rs.for the toy car. He did exactly that and put the letter on the window for god. He also had something to say to him. Might be an experience or conclusion or both. But he wanted to talk to someone. Then he decided to share his feelings with no one else than the god himself. \n\nHe wrote one last letter to god \nDear god\nThank you very much. Today I identified you. I don\'t know why people go to church to meet you. I don\'t know why we need either a crisis or Christmas to remember you. I don\'t know why people watch towearcds the sky when they wanw you to come, because I think that they should be looking towards themselves when they expect you to come. Today I know that you never come from the sky, you always come from a person like that beggar. Who is always ready to give, irrespective of the fact that how much he has got and whom he is giving to. Thanks for showing me the truth. Today I feel like the richest person on this planet and I don\'t need anything else. Now I am ready to give my part. People still vote based on the topic "communalism" in the largest democracy in this world India.
Communities invest millions of dollars in the religious activities. The question is "why all the cultures on this planet has one common thing religion". Is there any use of the word religion in today's scientific world? If yes then what is it? If no then why are we still carrying this burden of religion?
Let's start from the very basics. There are two things in this universe. First is existence and second thing is action. When we say that this thing exists the ability to perform an action comes natural to that existing thing. Every existing thing has it's own range to perform any action. Consider that existing thing to be a center of a circle. You may consider it a light (power) source. The radius of the circle is its area of action. Religion is all about the relationship between god and human being. Lets define these two first- you may consider human being as a circle whose radius is infinite and whose center is at one point, whereas god is a circle whose radius is infinite and center is at every point. According to this definition we can say that there is a separate and individual relationship between god and human being. Now lets define religion- religion is a way to establish and realize that relationship between god and human being. For those who like to have it more practical lets consider another theory, every living thing is a kind of power, you may even say natural resource. "Religion is the most tried and tested way to explore these natural human resources."
Now the question arises, if religion is that dam good where is the problem? Problem is in the application and the way we accept it or frankly speaking the way we \r\nwant to accept it. Thing is that if there is a specific method of doing something than it must not be changed just because we don\'t like it. We can't change a medicine because it is just bitter in test. I don\'t mean to say that we should go for those superstitious methods or anything that looks hard to perform. What is important is that we must understand what is there for us and what is useless. How can we do this? There is one and only one way "spirituality". What is it? Spirituality is the most active and live part of religion. In other way we can say that practicing religion in our daily lives is being spiritual. Its all about being practical there is nothing like "its because it is written somewhere", "cause some people say it", No, it can\'t be like that. "It is because I felt it, I know it through my experience". That is the right way to go. This the way religion should be used. By being practical, feeling god as feeling anything else. We must remember one thing that religion is a weapon and we must learn to use it for good cause, other wise it will hurt us badly.
Now the question arises, if religion is that dam good where is the problem? It's a common fact that everybody wants to be happy and no one wants to be sad. Now it's a more common fact that no one can remain happy forever. Still most of us live a life, which is aimed to make our beloved ones and us happy. There is absolutely nothing wrong with this way of living but the question is "is this the right strategy to live a life", and more than that " is this the right psychology to live a life"?
Before answering this question, lets talk about what happiness is all about. There are two dimensions of happiness; first is natural and second is psychological dimension. The natural one is one that comes natural to all human beings. Like our eyes like to see something beautiful, our tongue likes to taste something tasty and so on. In one sentence it is all about providing our five senses their respective subjects(beauty for eyes, smooth touch for skin, melodious sound for ears etc.) which makes us happy.
Second dimension depends on our way of thinking. Sometimes we define happiness and fix some criteria for things that make us happy. For example few people love to see two persons fighting at the same time few people hate this thing. It's a difference in their psychology that creates this difference. Now thing is that we can't do anything to the natural dimension of happiness but can we do something to the psychological part of happiness. Yes we can.
In fact when you see the history of mankind you find that all the great persons had used this psychological dimension of happiness to produce something extraordinary. Other wise how can you explain the joy that Shaheed Bhagat Singh got when he was sentenced to death. Is death penalty something that can make anybody happy? No. but it did. And its not just about Bhagat Singh, every great person has used this psychological aspect of happiness. The only difference between the great people and others is that the great ones treat the moments of sadness as a challenging time to show their real character and create something new. Where as for others these are the times to cry. In fact the history of mankind is history of few wise people who understood the psychology of happiness and sadness. Thing is that if you stop expecting happiness and look for some challenging time ahead, life will really become fearless and enjoyable. A strong will is the only requirement, if you can create that then you can enjoy things, which are really painful. Believe me, it is a great felling when you are in your happy moments and waiting for the bad times to come so that you can show your real character.
\r\nNow coming back to the question "what should be the right strategy to live a life" the answer is that there is nothing wrong in going for the happiness but we must remember one thing that it is we who have to decide what happiness is for us. Only then we can get hold of ourselves. );

Now coming back to the question "what should be the right strategy to live a life" the answer is that there is nothing wrong in going for the happiness but we must remember one thing that it is we who have to decide what happiness is for us. How to be likethem? Is there some thing really supernatural? It’s just depends on our thinking other wise every thing is just natural. Any power can be felt by our five senses. When we say, “this thing exists”, we mean to say that we can feel it through any of our five senses. We can see it or hear it or touch it or smell it or test it. There are five different organs in our human body for each sense. These organs send the information to our conscious mind and these minds realize the existence of the power (substance). Important thing is that there are five other senses in our body for which we don’t have any separate organs. We get the information through the same organs but the only difference is that in this case these senses don’t relate to the conscious part of our mind. These senses relate to the sub conscious and unconscious part of our mind. These senses have a relation with our sukshma body. Since a normal person is only capable of using earlier five senses with his conscious mind any power, which relates to other five senses, which a normal person doesn’t use often, is called supernatural powers. Needless to say that these powers relate to sukshma body. Now it must be clear that supernatural powers are no different from other powers the only difference is that whether we can feel it through our conscious mind or not.
How to attain supernatural powers?
Before answering this question I want to tell you something, believe it or not, most of us use these powers in our daily lives. Its all in your mind, there is no other organ through which you can use these powers. Another fact is that most of us use it in extreme conditions like in frustration, while too happy or when we arte too emotional. These extreme conditions make a person create some thing extra which unconsciously makes him use some supernatural powers. As far as attaining these powers is concerned first thing we must understand is that it’s not about something, which exists and we can’t see it, and by doing something we have to see it. No it’s not like that.
Thing is that it’s just depends upon our ability to use our mind and body. As far as the game plan for attaining these powers is concerned there is a definite game plan. First of all we start from the very basics. Not just in this case but whenever we have to achieve something this is the basic game plan. You need two things; first is will and second is concentration. Say,” what’s new in it”,” Every body says this”.
There is definitely something new in it. Consider you to be a power and consider those supernat. powers to be your target. The only thing you can do about achieving target is to throw all your powers on your target. What I mean to say is you are doing something to achieve your target, all you are doing is making a power (yourself) flow on your target. There is nothing else. Now you must understand what will and concentration are all about. What does will do? Will makes the start of flow of powers. When we have a will of achieving some thing we start working on it. In this way we are making a flow of powers towards our targets. What does concentration does? It makes the flow continuous and unbroken. Every body has a will to achieve something and most of us start to work on it but only few of us can make it. Thing is that they start the flow of powers but can’t maintain it. This is where concentration plays its role. It makes sure a continuous flow of powers. So this is the very basic game plan, which we must remember.
Important
Now coming back to our topic supernatural powers. As it is clear now that if we wish to achieve some super powers then we have only one thing to work on; that is our mind. In fact our mind can do wonders for us. It can do everything except one; it can’t analyze itself. Mind is not a self-luminous thing. More than that we are not mind. We are the reason behind our minds; we are the energy that drives our minds. It’s important to know who we are? Then only we can differentiate ourselves from our minds and then only we can work on our minds and get some thing extra. Then we can learn to control our mind too, because generally we have a perception that mind controls us. Meditation is one thing that brings us closer to ourselves. A traditional ‘chakra’ based meditation is the best option. Any teacher or book can tell you the method but thing that is more important than others, is to know the very basic theory behind those methods. Our eyes, nose and ears all open outwards, that is why we are sensitive to outwards activity. Thing is that we will have to make to make ourselves able to view inside. How can we? Through our eyes? No, not through our eyes. Can we see without our eyes? Yes. Every night while sleeping we dream. Can’t we see in dreams? Yes we can. So eyes are not the only things we have through which we can see. Imagination is one thing that makes us able to see without eyes, hear without ears and you never know what else you can do with your imagination.
Yes, most of things you see in your imagination are not true but still there is something really special for you in it. The root of imagination is always related to reality. Every body can imagine something, important thing is how much trust you have in your imagination and how real can we make our imagination. Its not just about dreams, wish or dreams. Sincerely talking it is the best way to go to reality. There can’t be any imagination without a reality. Everything you imagine is based on a reality. What’s in it for us?
It really has something. If we are in our way to find something new or say, something never known before or say, something beyond our ordinary five senses or something, which exists, in our mind then imagination is the only thing, which lead to our goal. Yes it is true that most of he things in our imagination are not true but this is also true that if you can stick to your imagination and can make it your way of thinking then believe me it will never let you down. It will always lead you to reality. Newton, Einstein anybody who has created something new or discovered, see there stories. They were never taught by a teacher, its only their imagination and trust in their imagination which, at last lead them to reality. Come on, trust your imagination, you are not here just to live your life; you are here to create something. There is nothing, which a teacher can teach you. Believe me you can be your own teacher; you can trust your imagination. Believe me this is the only way you can do something special or be something special. It’s all about following the basics.

Ankit Kumar

Wish Machine

Dear God
Thank you very much for this day. When I was a kid, you were introduced to me as a "wish machine", which was there to fulfill all our good wishes. Though no body used the word "wish machine" but today I realize that not just that kid but also many mature (?) people use to treat you as a "wish machine".

I was asked to remember you during crisis and Christmas. I was asked to remember you in trouble. And I did. I did remember you before my exams. I did remember you before my results. I did remember you when my cricket team was loosing the match. Sometimes it felt like you were there to help me but most of the time I found myself "very optimistic." There was something wrong with that wish machine. Yet I went on using that wish machine because it really was an easy thing to make a request to you. There were times when I had doubts in my mind about your existence. But once again thank you for this day when it's not just believe but I know that you are there and I am writing this letter to you.

What happened to that "wish machine"? Well just to know what was wrong with that "wish machine" I tried to know something more about you. It started with gathering some information about you. Some said "god has four hands", some said " he is handless" and so on. But things changed when I understood the difference between information and knowledge. It was the turning point. You were more close to imaginary for me when I tried to believe on what I was told. But when I started to think practically you became more than a reality, which exists both in reality and outside the limits if reality.

One mistake we tend to make is that we try to identify you as a "fixed human character". For this we rely on few wise people's thought, who by virtue of their own consciousness have identified you and defined you. And we try to use that identification or definition for us. Its just not the write way. A human being is like a light source. Its ability to perform "luminate" is infinite and at one time it exists at a single place (where the source is). At the same time you are too light source, whose area of performance is infinite but you exists at every point.

Does that means there is nothing like a wish machine? No. There is definitely a wish machine. But there is nothing like an independent existence of a wish machine. The only thing we can do about it is that we can make ourselves a wish machine. I don't know why people need either crisis or a Christmas to remember you. I don't know why people look towards sky when they expect you to come. In fact they should be looking towards themselves.

The only difference between you and them is pure consciousness. A selfless human being in pure consciousness is you. A conscious human being with a well-defined wish is a "wish machine".

The reason why your son has decided not to ask you for any help is the same. Because I know that you are no different from me. In fact before being a human I am you first. Its just those blind desires who have changed me and many others to a normal human being. And today you know, that I know who you are and more importantly who am I. The on last request I am going to make is "may this consciousness always remain with me and may I will be able to spread this consciousness to all the people of this planet".

Father, today you may take some rest because your children have got the true knowledge and they are here to complete their responsibilities. And for those who are still to get knowledge of them you will remain a "wish machine" for them.

Your son,

Ankit Kumar
